How are General Clad and Raytron related?
General Clad is the Raytron Group brand specializing in CCS manufacturing. Raytron provides the broader clad-metal and precision-material portfolio. General Clad's CCS pages and Raytron's material overviews serve complementary buyer tasks.
What do CCS conductivity numbers mean?
The published CCS catalogue lists 21, 25, 30, 32, 35, 40, 53 and 55% IACS classes. %IACS describes electrical conductivity relative to the International Annealed Copper Standard. It does not state copper content or copper-layer thickness.
Can CCS replace copper at the same size?
There is no universal same-size substitution. Compare resistance at the stated temperature, electrical duty, mechanical requirements, connections and the applicable system specification.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Include application, grade, dimensions and tolerance, material condition, electrical and mechanical requirements, quantity, packaging and destination. Attach the drawing or acceptance specification in your email client.
What are the minimum order and delivery time?
Confirm the minimum order, lead time and shipping arrangement in the current quotation for the selected product and packaging. Historical website values and another Raytron material's terms are not a promise for your CCS order.
Can I request samples?
Share the trial purpose, target specification, required quantity and acceptance plan. The team will review sample availability, quantity, charges, freight and timing for that request.
Which technical and quality documents should I request?
Request the current datasheet, a test record matching the grade/construction and relevant quality documents. Confirm the certificate holder, covered site, scope and validity. Historical reports or expired certificates are not evidence for every current product.
Does the inquiry form send my message?
The form prepares an email or text to copy. General Clad receives your inquiry only after you send it through your email provider. Add attachments in that email app. Draft entries stay in this browser tab until cleared and are not uploaded by this website.
