Material test report
Ask for the sample or batch identification, tested construction, method, test date and results relevant to the product you are evaluating.
A historical sample report is not a guarantee for every grade, construction or order.
03 / QUALITY & COMPLIANCE
Quality and compliance documents
State the certification or customer requirement. Review the legal entity, manufacturing location, covered activity and validity of any document supplied.
Management-system certification and product qualification have different scopes.
STANDARDS & ACCEPTANCE
Agree on the requirement.
Include the standard identifier, edition and applicable test criteria in your inquiry. A standard named in a catalog does not by itself confirm product compliance.
Use the publisher’s authorized edition of a standard and agree on its applicability to the finished wire.
