GRADE / DIAMETER / CONDITION
The published range.
Listed sizes are catalog references. Confirm the current diameter, temper and steel-core combination for your project.
| Conductivity class | Listed diameter | Listed condition | Next step |
|---|---|---|---|
| CCS 21% IACS | 0.06–6.54 mm | Hard-drawn / annealed | Discuss grade |
| CCS 25% IACS | 0.06–6.54 mm | Hard-drawn / annealed | Discuss grade |
| CCS 30% IACS | 0.06–6.54 mm | Hard-drawn / annealed | Discuss grade |
| CCS 32% IACS | 0.06–6.54 mm | Hard-drawn / annealed | Discuss grade |
| CCS 35% IACS | 0.06–6.54 mm | Hard-drawn / annealed | Discuss grade |
| CCS 40% IACS | 0.06–5 mm | Hard-drawn / annealed | Discuss grade |
| CCS 53% IACS | 0.06–6.54 mm | Hard-drawn / annealed | Discuss grade |
| CCS 55% IACS | 0.06–6.54 mm | Hard-drawn / annealed | Discuss grade |
The 40% IACS listing has a 5 mm upper diameter; the other listed grades extend to 6.54 mm. This directory does not confirm every size and condition combination or suitability for an application.
BEYOND THE GRADE NUMBER
Define the complete wire.
Keep diameter, maximum DC resistance, tensile strength, elongation and copper-layer requirements together. A conductivity class alone does not define the finished conductor.
